Discipline Methods Engineer (Electrical)

 

Mission Tasks

Ensure full technical efficiency, by proper coordination of maintenance/upgrading activities, for the assigned FPSO in accordance with Class, international rules, Standard and with the offshore operations. Coordinate engine room and maintenance team, in compliance with schedule, cost, quality and safety standards of assigned FPSO. The FPSO Maintenance Engineer reports to the Operations Manager / Technical Manager and, in the frame of engine room and maintenance activities, is responsible for: - Support the management in the definition of the programs of use / stand-by. - Collection and entry of information to update the CMMS database. - Coordination / supervision of the repairs in case of breakdown, or ordinary and extraordinary maintenance, in cooperation with FLOPE and Procurement functions, in order to guarantee the availability of the FPSO. - The technical support to the vessel management for the maintenance implementation and the corrective actions to solve the daily technical problems, within the assigned budgets. - Collect data, reports and information to prepare the maintenance and investments budget. - Update and review the operating procedures. - Follow procurement activities for material and services (specifications, TBE, post order)

 

Professional Skills

Project Engineer, Discipline engineer, maintenance engineer, commissioning engineer. This position requires technical, commercial and relational skills. English is a must, Portuguese a plus. Position based in Luanda, regular missions onboard the FPSO. (3 years assignment is foreseen in Angola).

Workboat Master

 

Mission Tasks

- Organize (within the frame of his responsibilities) the maritime deck work activities and assign the tasks to the deck marine crew Tasks - Report to Chief Mate, control work activities of the deck crew and direct mooring operations of barges according with Company policies and procedure, international laws and requirements - Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of on-deck workspaces, assign qualified deck crew to operate the helideck fire stations and assist the Helicopter Landing Officers, where required, carry out assigned duties during an emergency situation as detailed in the Emergency response Procedures - Ensure all vessel rigging and lifting equipment are certified for use and are in a suitable condition, properly stored and maintained, perform Tool Box Talks (TBT) as required by the nature of the job to own crew Authority - Assign work tasks to deck crew - Maintain safe working practices
