Company Quality Manager

 

Mission Tasks

Ensure the correct development, management and improvement of the Company Quality Management System and of its application within the projects, promoting training and sensitization at all levels, and verifying the correct implementation for the systematic Management Review.

 

Professional Skills

Supervises all Company activities relating to Quality Management System and Project Quality Management particularly for the following functions: a) Represents the company regarding all matters of quality. b) Manages and updating the Company Management Manual. c) Co-ordinates the definition and distribution of Company Procedures. d) Plans and supervises Quality System Audits and evaluates any necessary corrective actions. e) Provides necessary assistance and technical expertise to other Company Units and to projects concerning matters of quality. f) Evaluates the Quality Systems of suppliers and sub-contractors during the pre-qualification phase. g) Allocates Quality personnel to various duties and/or projects. h) Leases with the authorised Company Quality System certification body. i) Prepares Management Review meetings of the Quality System. j) Trains all personnel about Quality System issues management and methodologies and implements the necessary training Programs for Quality personnel. k) Proposes preventive measures, promotes and implements improvement programs. l) Plans and assesses project audit results and analyses of non-conformity. m) Provides other units, responsible for analysing, defining and improving operating procedures and company processes, with the necessary back-up to implement the Quality System. n) Promotes the implementation of the processes monitoring bidding system. o) Supervises the definition and implementation of customer satisfaction tools and activities. p) Assists the Proposal Manager during bidding phase. q) Assists the Project Manager during project execution phase. r) Ensures that analysis of data coming from projects are forwarded to Corporate level. s) Interfaces with Company representative of Risk and knowledge Management. t) Manages Company document system ensuring its maintenance and updating, cooperating with different company functions.

 
 

Project Quality Engineer

 

Mission Tasks

Planning and implementation of the Quality Assurance activities within the project and coordination of the project Quality Control activities implementation.

 

Professional Skills

1. Provides the necessary back-up to the Quality Manager regarding contractual issues relating to Quality both during tender and project execution phase. 2. Plans and allocates Quality functions to individual projects. 3. Draws up a Quality Plan, Quality Control Plan and Project Quality Procedures which guarantee compliance with contractual requirements and ISO Standards. 4. Liaises with Clients about Quality matters. 5. Assesses the suitability of vendors and sub-contractors for individual projects. 6. Interfaces with responsible for inspection and control activities. 7. Performs internal and external Project Audits. 8. Assesses the Quality Control Plans of sub-contractors and identify any necessary corrective measures. 9. Provides Project personnel with the necessary Quality training. 10. Monitors the collection of "As built" data for projects. 11. Updates internal department Database with all the information (Corrective Action Request-CAR, Non Conformity-NC etc.) coming from the project and the site and preparing annual statistic analysis. 12. Approves documents made by Quality Control Personnel. 13. Monitors the adequate close-out of NC. 14. Defines Audit team. 15. Initiates and promotes all necessary corrective actions for any failure identified with project quality system.

 
 

Project Quality Manager

 

Mission Tasks

Plan and implement of the Project Quality Management activities within the project and coordinate of the project the Quality Control activities implementation. Report to Corporate Quality Department information and data about Project in line with Corporate Guidelines.

 

Professional Skills

1. Provides the necessary back-up to the Proposal/Project Manager regarding contractual issues relating to Quality both during tender and project execution phase. 2. Supports the Project Manager in leasing with Clients about all the Quality matters and contract requirements. 3. Plans and allocates Quality functions to the various area of the project. 4. Coordinates the preparation of the Project Quality Plans, Quality Control Plans and Project Quality Procedures which guarantee compliance with contractual requirements and ISO Standards. 5. Supports the Project Manager in the preparation of the Project management procedures (Execution Plans, Interface, Coordination procedures, etc.) 6. Coordinates the Project Document management and control activities. 7. Performs Quality Induction activities within the various area of the Project. 8. Plans and leads internal and external Project Auditing activities. 9. Reports to the relevant Operating Company Quality Manager all the data required by the Corporate/Company QMS. 10. Assesses the suitability of vendors and sub-contractors for individual projects. 11. Interfaces with responsible for inspection and control activities (for materials and relevant suppliers). 12. Coordinates and supervise all the Quality Control activities (mainly regarding Saipem and Subcontractor activities). 13. Assesses the Quality Control Plans of sub-contractors and identify any necessary corrective measures. 14. Monitors, supports the engineering roles, the collection of "As built" data for projects. 15. Defines Project Quality System. 16. Provides to the project personnel necessary quality training. 17. Coordinates project quality personnel activity. 18. Supports Project Manager in preparation of monthly report. 19. Provides periodical analysis of project date (NCs-Non Conformity, complaints and lesson learnt). 20. Monitors adequate close out of NCs- Non Conformity and events. 21. Ensures contract review and project close out are adequately performed. 22. Initiates and promotes all necessary corrective actions for any failure identified within Project Quality System.

 
 

Quality System Engineer

 

Mission Tasks

Collaborate to the correct development, management and improvement of the Company Management Quality System and to the verification of its correct implementation.

 

Professional Skills

1. Develops and manages the Company Quality Management System in compliance with applicable Quality Standards, Quality Policies, organisational assets and existing operating procedures. 2. Provides other units responsible for analysing, defining and improving operating mechanisms and company processes with the necessary back-up to implement the Quality System. 3. Leases with the authorised Quality System Certification Body and other bodies regulating company ISO9001certification activities. 4. Provides the necessary back-up to the Purchasing Management regarding Supplier and subcontractor pre-qualification, qualification and audits activities. 5. Prepares and implement internal Quality System Auditing activities. 6. Provides the necessary back-up to the Sales Management regarding company pre-certification activities. 7. Guarantees conformity by the Company Documentation System with ISO 9000 Standards (Manuals, Procedures, Work Instructions). 8. Supports Company Quality Manager in his duties. 9. Supports in the definition of process objectives relative process owners, monitoring their activity and promoting continuous improvement. 10. Trains relevant positions and new resources in quality matters. 11. Supports commercial department during qualification and tendering phase. 12. Supports and controls Project quality Personnel. 13. Analyses data coming from projects and processes (Customer Satisfaction-CS, Non Conformity- NC, complaints and lesson learnt etc.). 14. Issues and manages Corrective Action Request (CAR) and Preventive Action Request (PAR).
